Terms of Service
The boring page, written plainly.
These terms explain what your monthly subscription includes, how billing works, and what happens if something goes wrong.
1. What the subscription is
Don’t Click This designs, builds, hosts, maintains and supports your website for a recurring monthly fee. It is not only a maintenance plan — the subscription is what keeps your website live and covers the services included in your plan.
Plans start at $90/month (Essential) and $150+/month (Custom). Your exact monthly price is agreed with you before checkout and shown on your payment page.
2. Recurring billing
Your subscription is billed monthly to your saved payment method until it is canceled, subject to these terms. Billing starts on the day you subscribe and repeats on the same day each month.
Minimum commitment: none — month to month.
Your website subscription bills monthly to your saved payment method until you cancel. It covers design, hosting, maintenance, updates and 24/7 support for as long as it is active.
3. What’s included
Depending on your plan, your subscription covers:
- Design and development of your website
- Hosting and uptime
- Ongoing maintenance and updates
- Website edits and changes according to your plan
- 24/7 support
4. 24/7 support
Something wrong? Need a change? Just reach out at info@dontclickthis.link. Support is included on every plan. Specific response or resolution times are not guaranteed unless agreed in writing.
5. Payments and failed payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. If a monthly payment fails, your website stays online and you enter a 30-day grace period:
- Day 0 — we email you that the payment couldn’t be processed. Your site stays online.
- Day 5 — friendly reminder with the outstanding amount and a link to update your payment method.
- Day 15 — final notice, including the exact suspension date.
- Day 30 — the website is temporarily suspended until the balance is resolved.
6. Suspension is not deletion
If a payment is not resolved within the 30-day grace period, your website is temporarily suspended — taken offline, not deleted. Paying the outstanding balance brings it straight back.
Suspension makes your website temporarily unavailable to the public. Your website files, configuration and account information are retained so the site can be restored.
Retention: website files and data are kept for 30 days after suspension or cancellation, then they can be permanently deleted.
7. Reactivation
Resolving the outstanding balance reactivates the subscription and brings the website back online, subject to the retention policy above.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel any time from your client portal. Your website remains active through the end of the paid billing period, then goes offline according to these terms. Full detail lives on the cancellation policy page.
Month to month. Cancel any time from your client portal — your website stays online through the end of the billing period you already paid for, then goes offline.
After the last paid day the website is taken offline. Files and data are kept for 30 days in case you come back, then they can be permanently deleted. Your own content (text, images, logos) is always yours to keep.
9. Website ownership and buyout
While your subscription is active you have full, exclusive use of your website. The design and underlying code stay mine until they are bought out. If you cancel, the site goes offline. If you want to keep it permanently, there is a one-time buyout equal to 10 months of your monthly plan — you then receive the site files and code and I help you move them to your own hosting. Your content, brand and domain are always yours either way.
10. Domain ownership
Your domain is yours. If you already own it, it stays in your account and we simply point it at your site. If I buy it for you, it is registered on your behalf and transferred to you free of charge whenever you ask, as long as your account has no unpaid balance. Domain renewal fees are included while your subscription is active.
11. Client-provided content
You keep ownership of the text, images, logos and other content you provide, and you confirm you have the right to use it. You’re responsible for the accuracy and legality of that content.
12. Third-party services
Your website may rely on third-party services (for example Stripe for payments, hosting and analytics providers, or a domain registrar). Those services have their own terms, and outages or changes on their side are outside our control.
13. Limitations
We work to keep your website online and functioning, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted availability, specific search rankings, traffic or business results.
14. Termination
Either side may end the subscription. We may suspend or terminate a subscription for unpaid balances or for content that is unlawful or abusive. Any amounts already due remain payable.
